A Federal District Court judge has approved T-Mobile’s acquisition of Sprint allowing for finalization of a deal over two years in the making.
The judge concluded the deal was not likely to negatively impact competition.
The decision will mean most of the country’s wireless customers will be served by three major network operators, Verizon, AT&T, and the new T-Mobile.
